If not now, when?

Dear Zoey + Emma,
Sorry for the lack of updates, but you girls have been keeping me BUSY! Honestly, I love you girls to no ends, but there are days when I feel like I’m going to lose my mind! (Again, I love you girls!) The truth is some days are good and some are “I need a vacation” tough. I struggle in finding balance with being a mom and starting my photography business. Let me tell you it’s CRAZY HARD. I mean being a mom is already a juggling act on its own!

There are days when I just want to throw in the towel and give up. Balancing family and work is the most challenging thing I’ve ever faced in my life, but as cliché as it sounds, it’s also the most rewarding. You girls give me purpose. More than to live up to the “best mom” title, but to be a woman who isn’t afraid to fail and expose my failures. One who isn’t afraid to live out and share my faith no matter how tough the days are.

Zoey and Emma, you’re both growing up way too fast and I’m realizing more and more how short the years are, even when the days seem so long. You girls remind me to live in the moment and to love every moment because life is too short. And there’s no turning back.

If not now, when? Live with no regrets. This is our time.
