On the First Day of Blogging…

Dear Zoey + Emma,
It’s been a while since I’ve updated you on the past Engagements, Weddings, Birthdays I’ve photographed. And my most recent, first ever Family Photoshoot!
As you can see my photography business has been keeping me busy, but nowhere near as much as you girls have been keeping my hands full!
Both you girls have grown leaps and bounds within the past few months and it only just gets more and more rewarding to witness.
Zoey, ever since you turned 3, you’ve become so much more independent and your imagination has run wild and free – I love it! Not to mention, you are like a sponge – absorbing every bit of life!
Emma, as you quickly approach 1 year, it’s such a joy watching you sprout into this little human bean (yes, a beautiful beansprout!) I love how I’ve started to grow this real, intimate bond with you that’s reciprocated. Not only that, I love how I’m starting to see a sisterly bond form between you and Zo. Sometimes I’ll catch her giving you a hug and kiss just because. It’s my most favourite thing.

Getting back on track here, I realized that there are 12 Days left until Christmas! So I thought to myself, “12 Days of Christmas…12 Days of Blogging!” What better way to update you on my biz and other shizz! (I know, I just climbed up the cool ladder. Again.)
But in all seriousness, this will hopefully get me motivated to stay on track before the year ends and get a fresh start to the New Year.

I feel like I’m about to embark Everest with this promise to blog for 12 Days straight until Christmas! But you girls are reason enough to keep going and to keep climbing.
