5 Years Together

Dear Jason,
5 years ago, we said “I Do.” We promised to stand by each other through thick and thin, for better or for worse and whatever life threw our way.
Sometimes we got hit hard and more often than not we’d even get hit while we were still on the ground, but you always remind me that we have it good. We have each other.
Thank you for holding my hand these past 5 years and never losing grip. During those years, I’ve learned to let go of the things of this world and learned to hold onto what really matters a little tighter.

Thank you for not only letting me be me, but for embracing who I am with open arms. (Most would run for the hills with arms flailing!)
Thank you for seeing past my mistakes, morning breath and inability to cook a decent meal.
Thank you for carrying the weight of my hopes and dreams and for always being my #1 fan. Sometimes my ONLY fan. (And sometimes a really good fan on those hot summer days)

You’re the reason why I live to love.
You’re the reason why I carry through.
You’re the reason why I love to live.
You’re the reason why I still say “I Do.”

I can’t wait for the years ahead and to spend eternity with you by my side.
